I’ve signed up for all the social networking/bookmarking sites that I find cool. Technorati, Entrecard, StumbleUpon and MyBlogLog. And I have to say, it’s right what they tell us. These sites will bring you traffic. But It’s not enough, I want more traffic. Am I wrong? I don’t think so. I don’t think anyone in a perfect state of mind would be upset if he managed to drive another X number of visitors to his blog or site. Why blog if you don’t want maximum exposure? So, on my quest for maximum exposure, one area I’ve been looking at is commenting regulary on popualr, big blogs with a link to my blog. I’ve been looking over lots and lots of blogs, trying to find reasons why I should try this method. Here’s the best ones I found.

  • You’re exposing your blog
  • You can expect a boost of traffic

They both Sound like a good enough reasons. But how long does the exposure last? Is all this traffic likely to stick around ?

This is the traffic stat for ZakShow.com from the start on January :

 Zakshow Traffic

Januray             350 PL         156UV

February          7337PL       4663UV

Do you notice that increase of the traffic on February ! It’s social networking / bookmarking job, but this traffic doesn’t convert well so you can’t expect too much income from it.

So the question is : Where can you / I get the quality traffic wich convert well ?
