April wasn’t a good month, I had a noticeable drop in revenue, even with a very good amount of traffic for all of my websites. I think the reason is the socialbookmarking traffic, first thing i can say that it doesn’t convert at all and in the other hand it get you smartpriced especially from Google Adsense. Actually Im glad to say that the month of May was pretty good compared to the last month earning.
MAY 2008 BLOG REVENUE REPORT:
- Affiliate Sales/Referrals : $486.32
- Private Ad Sales : $397.50
- Reviews : $180.00
- Google Adsense : $579.22
- Kontera : $17.85
Total Revenue: $1660.89
- Bidvertiser ad campaign : $50.00
Total Costs: $50.00
Total Income for May 2008: $1610.89
Well, I know that is not a big deal but it’s fine, that what I deserve because I didn’t invest so much money or time. I will work more next month and we’ll see how much it will bring.
BTW, this earning is from 5 websites : This blog, 2 Arcades, 2 Travel Guides.

With 5 domains you made so much. With 20 times your domain i dont make more than $200.

@ sanket : Im managing my sites alone because it’s only 5 sites including 2 arcades that don’t need a lot of maintenance and 2 Travel guides already full with their articles so no maintenance again.
All what I have to work on is this blog, and Im sorry that i can’t post regulary because it’s an exam period and it’s my last year at the unversity to graduate.

2k is nice amount because you only manage 5 sites. Some people need more than 200 sites to earn that amount per month.

Well, If you are seeking for fast profit, stay away from arcades !
Arcade is a hard niche to monetize, because it’s a very low paying niche, sometimes I get 0.01$/click + It’s too competitive.
My arcades are over 1 years old now and I spent a lot of $$ on them for advertising in the first 6 months.
Also it take a lot of works to get ranked well in SE for keywords like ” free online game ” or ” best free online fun ” and even harder for ” online games ” or ” flash games ” Google this keywords and you’ll see how much results you’ll get.
Personally if I want to start a new arcade now, I’ll invest more than 3000$ on it to get a good script + a web 2.0 design and the most important is some exclusive games, designed for the site to get started.
All the games packs sold with scripts are boring, duplicated old games that no one want to play anymore.
So if you wanna make it, make it big and you should get profit since the 3th or 4th month.
Also when monetizing an arcade or any gaming, fun nich, don’t rely only on adsense, private ad sales can get you more especially if you have a huge amount of traffic.
And finally don’t forget the server costs, Arcades site need a lot of bandwitch.
It’s the rule my friend : Pay More To Get More.

yesterday I visited all ur site like singapur tarvel and forex tarvel and arcade game, u have PR 4 for arcade game thast very good and no page rank for travel site I copyscape ur travel contents its orignal and have no duplication so do u write all content ur own or u taken from freelance writter something I am asking all this for i wanted to know what will be investment? in what shoul i invest in contents or design or promotion what is more important as all are equal importants ???

For the Singapore Tourist Guide, is a new site that have about 1 month old, that why it not totally indexed in Google even I made a sitemp for it and submit it and stuff… I bought the STG for DP forum for 73$ and I did some change to it. That’s all.
I would invest 1/2 in site design and content and the other half on promotion as there are a lot of very good sites but people don’t know about. So make your business knowen is my first priority.
How much do you want to invest? If you are planning to invest a big amount go for a high paying competitive niche like Mortgage, Health or Loans!
