Today, I got a mail from Entrecard support, this mail announce that from 1 July 2008, all quick pages drop will be deleted.
A quote from the mail:
This message is to inform you that effective July 1, 2008, Entrecard will be purging from its system the accounts of all members currently operating “Quick Drop Pages”. We have assembled a massive list of all quick drop pages, and starting on the above mentioned date, we are going to go through the entire list and close the accounts of all the owners.
To avoid having your account with Entrecard permanently removed, you must take down your quick drop page before July 1. If we open a quick drop page with your widget on it, your account will be removed from Entrecard without warning.
What that mean quick drop pages?
Quick drop page is a blank page that don’t have any content, only the Entrecard widget. People use these pages because they allow them to get the max of the drop, and it’s normal that a page without content will load too fast giving owners to get the max of drops.
An example?
Entrecard is doing that because they consider that the quick page drop or the powerdrop devalue the network and the EC credit, and they are right.
So anyone using this method? Hurry up and delete the page before getting banned.
