July 23rd, 2008Google Negociates Buying Digg For 200$ Million Deal
Google is in final negociations from the last 2 weeks to acquire Digg for about 200$ million. We heard about this information a lot during the last 6 weeks from various sources inside and outside Google. Microsoft will be the big looser in that deal as they have already tried to make an offer but seems that Google is going too far in term of the price, that will force Microsoft to step back and automatically loses the 3 years ad deal with Digg.
What do you think? Digg worth the 200$ million from Google? And what will happen if Google acquire Digg? I think it will have a big impact in the socialbookmarking world and it will also impact the search results as Google will take in consideration top Digg’s front page stories as good one, maybe!
