I Lost My DP Pass: No Reply !

3 days back, I lost my Digital Point Forums password so I can’t login to my account. I used to store my account password in firefox, but since I upgraded they ask me to login again. The problem is that I forgot the mail that I signed up with as it’s been a while since I am DP member. The worst thing is that I sent many mail to the administrators to asm them for help in order to solve my problem but I did not get any reply from them. Here is the message that I already sent to them many times:

Hi,

Please help me to get my password back, I used to store it in firefox but after upgrading they asked me to login again. I can’t remember my password and I can’t remember the email that I signed up with as I have many emails.

Please just send me the email adress indicated in my account in order to reset my password as I don’t want to create a new account.

My username is: adrianzak

Please get back to me as soon as possible.

So where are you Digital Point Forum mods and administrators? Is that your strategy to get problems solved: Ignore people?!!

Guess what! After posting this, they BAN my account for no reason!

The way you have asked for your password, can be proved very dangerous. Because, if they provide you the password for the id you have mentioned, then everyone will get everyone’s password (other than his/her own password) in same way sending emails to moderator. Your attempt to get password is not justified buddy. Please open a new account. Best wishes.

the admins and moderators over at digital point are ass hole who ban people because it makes there sad life’s better, and i guess not replying your email makes up for that.

At least they shouldn’t ban me, because they don’t have any reason! What happend if I remember the mail and I get back my pass? I’ll found myself banned! And they ban my friend Binjamin too, because he was defending me, Sorry Man ..

@Protap: If you read more carefully you’d see that he didn’t ask for his password. He asked for the e-mail address associated with his account so that he could initiate a password reset himself. There is nothing dangerous about it, since he would still have to have access to that e-mail account to get the password. I recently had to do this myself for a particular web site, and they shouldn’t have any problem with it.

I am not sure whether this will help or not.

Go to Accessories–>System Tools–>System Restore

and choose a date that’s before you upgraded firefox.I have not tried,so I don’t know whether it will help or not.
As you have been banned,it may not help you this time,but may be next time it will come handy:)

I don’t know how to describe the situation, I don’t find the exact word! A friend of mine posted there in the general chat forum explaining the situation and giving proofs to get my account back ( I didn’t asked him to do that ), The result: My friend and everyone that said something negative about mods or said that I am right got banned. they got them banned saying that are multiple accounts created by me! WTF is that? Can you believe this! ( Maybe they will get me banned for my blog too ) and finally when people start taking the situation seriously as it touch the forum reputation, a Jackass Mod closed the thread.

I am just wondering if that civilized people react like that?! It’s not fair! Shawn is too busy to look on the forum and the mods do whatever they want!

Anyway, I posted this post and I commented only to let everybody know that Digital Point Sucks and also to say sorry to all my friends that I know and that I don’t know that got banned ( Anyway they are not upset at all, because they didn’t lost anything and they believe that DP sucks too! ).

Sounds like your DP was hacked, and they started to spam people with your account. It wouldn’t surprise me.
