Blog Basic Thinking, a wordpress powered German tech blog has been sold for at auction for 46,902€ (62,300 USD). The blog was listed for sale in the early of January with a target price of between €10,000 and €100,000.
The new owner was listed as Serverloft, a German provider of professional root servers. Serverloft CEO said that he is a reader of the blog for a long time, and the company will continue working on the site in its current format.
The blog had about 25,000 RSS subscribers and a high commenting activity which shows an active & interactive community.
The blog has a Technorati rank of 756, Alexa rank identified as 107,216, but a more valuable 7,611 for Germany. The revenue of the blog was not revealed.
