Youtube is in negotiations with Sony to take full legal rights to full-length content and movies from Sony Pictures, such as ”The International” and “Spider-Man”. Any partnership between these two powerhouses would likely benefit them both, in addition of every Internet user.
Negotiations comes about a week after Disney announced that it had allowed and licensed short-form videos and clips to YouTube. For YouTube, getting short-form clips from Disney is a great move but it’s not what Youtube wants the most.
We still don’t have anything official information as representatives from both companies declined to comment.
