Everybody wassup? As you know, I’m a sport car fan, but I don’t have that much money that can allow me to buy a fancy car, however these last days I was looking for a sport car with an affordable price. After a lot of research, I bought a used 2007 Seat Leon for about 18,000$. This car is powered by a 2.0l TDI Turbo diesel engine with 170 horsepower. Here are some photos of my 2007 Seat Leon:

Let’s move to the top speed achievement part, today I was testing the car in the highway, I was lucky that there was no much traffic and thanks God that I didn’t get caught by the radar ( I hate paying fines ;) ). With that fantastic car I reached my top speed level, I was driving at 190 km/h for a distance of about 30 km, It was too fast and amazing that I didn’t noticed that I went too far! You want to see a proof? Here you go, check out this video:

So, how do you find my new car? How do you like it?

However, they did go a bit out of the stantard. First thing you’ll notice is an awkward, big grill. The new pilot also looks a little more squared off in the last version.

Engine power is up a bit, to 250 HP. That won’t impress the class leaders, but Honda doesn’t focus on that. Gas mileage also improved slightly, to 17 city / 23 highway on the 2WD model. That’s about par for class.

2009 Honda Pilot Specs

250 HP 3.5 liter V6

Variable Cylinder Management ( VCM )

5 speed automatic transmission

FWD or AWD

18 cubic ft of cargo room behind third row

Seating for 8

EPA Says: 17 MPG city / 23 MPG highway ( FWD model )

Are you impressed by these numbers? I’m not!

There are many tips and cautions you can take when buying a used car. First off, make sure you are getting what you pay for, you should check on websites like Kelley’s Blue Book. On sites like this you can check the suggested retail price for the used vehicle by simply putting in the cars information into the sites and you will get the price, make sure you are not paying over the price they give you. After you have done that you need to check the cars past, to see if it has been in any accidents, or any other bad experiences. One site you can check the car’s history is on is CarFax. Another thing you can do is check if the car is being sold by a dealer, or a person; If a person is selling the car you are probably getting a better a better deal then if a dealer is selling it because a dealer bought it from a person and is selling it for a higher price.

Since the car you are buying is used its different. You should always buy a car that is known to have high quality, that way the car will last longer. Another thing you should do when buying a car is to test drive it first to check for any driving problems. A caution you should take when buying a car is making sure that the seller does not owe any money on the car, or you can get yourself into a hassle.

Once you think the car has passed this criteria then you are almost ready to buy your used car.

Here are some other tips on buying a used car.

♠ Don’t buy a car that you have not seen yourself

♠ Always ask how many owners have owned the car before

♠ Always check with the owner before you buy to see what the car has been through

♠ See if the owner will let you see if a mechanic can check the car for any further problems

♠ Check the interior of the car before you buy

♠ Look around for a variety of cars to ensure your getting the best deal

♠ Check for leaks, and listen for any weird sounds while driving

♠ Always go with you instinct

These tips should help when buying a used car, hopefully it will prevent anyone from getting ripped of when buying a used car.

It takes a little of time to Audi to reveal this new model, so it will have to impress if it wants to gain some buyers. Is it possible? Let’s check. First, in the US, this model is vailable with two engines. The V6 ( it puts out 280 HP) and the V8 wich have a reasonable amount of get up and go. 350 HP surely would get you moving better, but the Q7 has an incredible 5467 lbs to push around. Yeah. That right there is my single largest complaint; nearly 5500 pounds is entirely too much for a vehicle of this size.

If Audi offered the great twin-turbo diesel option in the US, things wouldn’t be the same. Sure, the weight would still be there ( even more so actually, as diesel engines are very heavy ), but it wouldn’t matter. See, 550 lb-ft of couple make you ignore the measly 5500+ lbs. Things like weight just don’t have a big imapct when you have such an unlimited pool of torque at your disposal. Audi does have an even more ridiculously powerful diesel engine in the works for the next Q7; a V12 rumored to put out 500 horses.

2008 Audi Q7 Specs

280 HP 3.6 liter V6 ( Available 350 HP 4.2 liter V8 )

Towing Capacity: 6600 lbs

Curb weight: 5015 lbs ( V6 ), 5467 lbs ( V8 )

EPA Says: 14 MPG city / 20 MPG highway ( V6 )

So, did you ever driven the Audi Q7 ?

Due to the substantial demand for a sports style SUV that comes equipped with exceptional physical handling dynamics, the 2009 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S has been released. Considered as the mightiest of the Cayenne models, it is driven by its big 4.8-liter V8 engine that comes with a twin turbo forced induction that gives 550 hp as well as 553 lb-ft of torque.

Looking at it from its exterior, you could identify it with its 21-inch alloy wheels that is beautifully housed in painted wheel arches and a sports exhaust system which has four tail pipes constructed using aluminum investment casting. Its wheel arches and air intake grills are all painted the same hue and shade as its body. It is also available in the simple yet stylish lava gray metallic paint, which is an exclusive paint option to the Turbo S.

Having a character like no other, this new top-of-the range Cayenne Turbo S is truly a thing of comfort and beauty as is shown with: its great interior seating; the front sports seat that has the Comfort Memory Package; the rear seating built with individual seat contours; leather upholstery that comes in two dual-color combinations exclusive to the Turbo S once again; aluminum door panels that shows the name plate; and the leather steering wheel that has the padded center.

Just like all the other Cayenne models, the Turbo S is also quite the cool and tech-savvy SUV made for those people who are looking for the car that would able to conform to today’s most advanced technologies as it has the option to have voice actuation complete with full word recognition to use for navigation system destinations, a universal audio interface that comes with MP3 connection, a cell phone link-up through the use of Bluetooth as well as a TV module for use in both digital and analog terrestrial signals. It also comes with a BOSE® Surround Sound System complete with 14 speakers features that have an enhanced 410-watt output for the music-lover in all of us. It is also capable of reproducing music that are from video and audio DVDs that are in a 5.1 Surround Format.

If you would be comparing it to the Turbo model, the Cayenne Turbo S is not all that different as far as appearance is concerned. Aside from the bigger rims and wider fender flames, the look does not totally scream out that it is a whole different vehicle. However, it has some new functional features including a remapped engine computer, a new exhaust system and different air intakes. These features are actually more than enough to drive the Turbo S from 0 to 60 mph in a remarkable period of just 4.8 seconds. Top speed is just as outstanding at 174 mph.

Aside from the improvements in performance, the maximum torque has also been increased from 700 Nm to 750 Nm as long as it is within the engine speed range of between 2,250 rpm to around 4,500 rpm.

With all its power and might, it is only apt that Porsche offers ceramic composite brakes for this SUV wonder. This would make sure that there would be no people who would be zooming by without exceptional brakes.
