If you’ve ever wanted a full size family car that gives you more than enough space on the inside; the 2013 Chevrolet Impala is the sedan for you. There is no telling to the amount of interior space this vehicle gives you, as both drivers and passengers will be able to spread their legs out and relax, while on a drive around.

2013 Chevrolet Impala

Throughout the years, Chevrolet has maintained the overall look of the Impala, but by changes several front and back-end features, it now looks like a whole new sporty sedan. Even though many of Chevrolets’s other vehicles are higher up on the features list; they still seem to have cut it short with the 2013 Impala.

Interior/Exterior Styling

Chevrolet deals with numerous amounts of rental agencies all of which use the 2013 Chevrolet Impala as their standard sedan rental. The front end of the vehicle has remained somewhat same over the past three years, with their signature lights and grill. The back-end of the new Impala has been raised a little, but overall; it remains the same family sedan that it’s always been. The 2013 Impala will be available in various trim levels, offering a few flavors to choose from. On the inside, you still have their fabric built seats, which might be a little boring for some younger drivers.

When considering the performance of the 2013 Impala, one thing we can say is that the highway ride is incredibly smooth. The drive train on the older 2012 Chevrolet Impala was surely something that many people did not like, as it did not perform as well as how we thought it would. However, in 2013, Chevy made some changes and included a 3.6L V6 engine. In the next model, which is supposedly to be released in 2014? With six speed automatic transmission and the addition of a tiptronic gearing system, you have the option to zoom across the freeway with a manual feel. The one thing that makes people distant about the Impala is the fact that it is powered by a V6 engine that drinks gas likes its water.

Features/Fuel Efficiency

The Chevrolet Impala does deliver features that are unique to its own class sedan, but then again, they are becoming a standard in many models.  Among the default Impala features, we have the AM/FM radio, CD player, AUX adapter and cruise control. As the 2013 Chevrolet Impala is not a luxury sedan, you won’t see many of the advanced features you see in other exquisite model vehicles. The rear seats can be folded, for easy storage capacity in the trunk. The trunk on the Impala is quite large on its own, but you can increase that by folding your rear seats. The top of the line sports model of the 2013 Chevrolet Impala gives you an amazing Bose sound system, alloy wheels, fog lamps, leather seating and a built-in garage opener.

When you are at the rental counter and you’re booking a Chevrolet Impala, they would sometimes let you know that you are renting a gas guzzler. The 2013 Chevrolet Impala is not the perfect economical car for the city, as it only achieves a total 18mpg. While on the highway, you get better fuel efficiency compared to other sedans in its class. The Impala achieves about 30 MPG highways, which is better than the Toyota Avalon, one of its direct competitors. Overall, the 2013 Chevrolet Impala ranks 6.9 out of 10.
