2017 Smartphones Review: Huawei P10 vs iPhone 8 Plus

2017 will be a great year for the new smartphones technologies lovers. In this article, we will introduce a comparison review of two of the best smartphones that will be available in the market on 2017.

Huawei P10

Huawei P10 Mobile ReviewLet’s start with the Huawei p10 especially that I really enjoyed the experience of the Huawei P9, which you will enjoy using, and if Huawei can improve its smartphone powered by a dual camera for 2017, then players like Apple and Samsung may have to worry in the high-end market.

Now we have the first clues on the components of the Huawei P10, if one believes a benchmark that appeared on the famous benchmarking site GFXBench. The model number listed is the Huawei LON-L29, which seems to be the legitimate successor of the P9’s LON-L19.

We are considering a 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, which is roughly comparable to today’s evolution. Even more interesting is the powerful Kirin 960 processor and the 6 GB of RAM. There would also be an enormous internal storage capacity of 256 GB.

We already know that the Kirin 960, which is designed by Huawei, will bring big improvements to the power consumption and overall speed of the smartphone. And, it is apparently designed to support all the augmented and virtual reality games that we will see soon on the market.

The benchmark also mentions a 12-megapixel encrusted camera at the back (although there is no indication if it’s a dual-lens model like the P9) and an 8-megapixel front camera. Android 7.0 Nougat comes pre-installed with the Huawei EMUI overlay, as might be expected.

Its specifications could be very enticing especially if Huawei brings an elegant chassis, as with the P9.Will it be launched in April as its predecessor ? This info remains unknown.

Apple iPhone 8 Plus

Apple iPhone 8 Plus ReviewNow, let’s take a look at the Apple iPhone 8 Plus. According to analysts at Barclays Research, Blayne Curtis, Christopher Hemmelgarn, Thomas O’Malley and Jerry Zhang, the next generation of Apple iPhone, which should be named iPhone 8 could be shipped with a curved design, a more large screen and without borders.

According to sources within Apple’s supply chain, analysts have revealed that the borderless design will allow the company to embed a 5-inch screen on the iPhone 8, and a 5.8 Inch on the iPhone 8 Plus, while retaining the same size and shape factor as the iPhone 7 “4.7-inch” and the iPhone 7 Plus “5.5-inch”.

Not to forget that the iPhone 8 Plus will be Apple’s first smartphone to present an Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) that will be curved on the sides, creating a touch-to-edge touch surface similar to the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge and the Galaxy S7 edge.

« By using an OLED plastic screen, the screen can bend at the edges to allow curved edges», analysts says. They then added that they expect most screens to be designed by Samsung and LG, as Sharp, owned by Foxconn, still does not have operational factories.

This information comes a few months after the KGI Securities analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, who is undoubtedly one of the most accurate voices on Apple’s future products, predicted that the Cupertino firm will launch an iPhone With a 5.8-inch curved OLED display, and a glass chassis in 2017.

It is important to keep in mind that the information contained in this publication is far from confirmed, and it is important to take them with tongs. That said, Apple will have to bring a major overhaul to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the iPhone, so we must not rule out the possibility of a curved screen.

Huawei P10 vs Apple iPhone 8 Plus, which one is better?

iPhone 8 Plus vs Huawei P10

In my opinion, the Huawei P10 has much more to offer than the iPhone 8 Plus in term of configuration and core performance. However, the iPhone 8 Plus offers a sleek curved design that will blow your mind. How about you ? What do you think ? Which one would you prefer ? The Huawei P10 or the Apple iPhone 8 Plus ?
