justWink iPhone Application Review

American Greetings has launched a new ecard app for the iPhone called justWink. You can download this app for free from the App Store and you can use this app to send personalized ecards for any occasion.  This is a great app for those people that live hectic and busy lives.

As soon as you enter the splash page, you will notice several featured cards that you can scroll through by swipe right or left. As soon as you see an interesting ecard, just tap on the cover to enlarge it and tap it twice to see the message inside. You can have more option for the card by tapping the green arrow located on the top header or pull down on it for cool effects. You can also see various categories for ecards including birthdays to weddings.

As soon as you select an ecard, you can add your signature, photo or even a note to further personalize it. Simply tap on the areas to include the options. You can add a photo from your camera or from the Camera Roll. After that you can easily add a personal message and finally attach your signature to the card. The cool thing about this app is that you can even edit your signature to make it look more proper. Review the final product before you send it off. You have a choice of sending the ecard through email or Facebook.

This app is very helpful especially those that live hectic lives. But this app can lag quite a bit since it is rather graphic heavy. Plus, even though you can personalize the ecards with a picture, note and signature, it is quite limited in colors. Users cannot select various colors to personalize their ecards. Also, with just Facebook as a social networking feature it lags behind compared to other apps in this category. This app would be much more helpful if it could remind you of all the special dates that occur in your life. But for a free app, justWink is worth the download.
