Lenovo Launches ThinkPad Edge

Lenovo ThinkPad laptop Edge launched its new 11-inch diagonal, the smallest and lightest member of the family ThinkPad Edge. Designed for small and medium businesses (SMB), ultra-portable laptop comes with Managing performance in a small way at an affordable price.

“Just like large companies, small organizations, customers want high performance and feature-rich notebooks that fit each category separately, all at an affordable price,” said Dilip Bhatia, Vice President, Marketing ThinkPad, Lenovo. “That’s why we created the 11-inch Edge ThinkPad laptop, which benefits from the latest processors for multitasking, 3G and WiMax, as well as continuous connectivity, and extra special included options for the business segment as webcam sensitive to dim light.”

Almost the size of a card, 1.1 inch slim notebook weighs less than 1.36 kg (three-cell battery), so it can be easily carried in your bag or briefcase. 11.6-inch screen provides enough space to edit documents, presentations or even to connect to the TV and watch HD movies via HDMI video port. ThinkPad keyboard is resistant to contact with liquids paid by users. In addition, standard web camera sensitive to dim light makes it possible to support videoconferencing on business or simply keeping in touch with family and friends. 11-inch ThinkPad laptop Edge is available in three colors: Midnight Black Glossy, Smooth Midnight Black and Red Glossy Heatwave.

11-inch ThinkPad laptop Edge offers two options for processors – Intel Core / Pentium or AMD Athlon Vision Pro. Users can work almost all day working because the battery autonomy of up to seven hours (with 6 cell batteries) and can connect to wireless networks using 3G or WiFi 4G/WiMAX Qualcomm Gobi technology. The laptop comes equipped with several versions of Windows 7 business-class according to your preference through your laptop starts much faster than the same configuration. Extra options such as three USB drives and card reader 4-in-one site makes it easy to connect peripherals such as hard drives and external load or digital cameras. Users can expand the options by USB Power Hub, which combines a 65 watt AC adapter with 4 USB drives that can simultaneously charge the laptop and can connect / load other devices.
