Mexi-Pedia is very simple and straight forward to use. The developers made it quite user friendly since all you need to do is launch the app and you will be presented various Mexican dishes in a list alphabetically. Simply tap on the name of the dish and you will be presented a large picture of the dish with a short but informative description of it. Located on the bottom of the entire list you can see the “Other” section. This section essentially explains the various different types of meats and Mexican sauces like yomatillo, pico de gallo, and mole sauce.
This app is very useful if you want to cook your favorite Mexican dishes like quesadilla and you are shopping around for the correct ingredients. It will also come in handy if you are waiting in line to grab a quick Mexican meal from a food truck but have no idea what is written on the menu. Another cool feature is that in some of the dishes, Mexi-Pedia will recommend you on the best meats to go with a specific dish and the exact method of cooking it.
Toonalooney Studios, LLC has done an excellent job in creating a very informative food app for the iPhone. The visuals are amazing plus the layout is quite simple but with very informative explanations. This app is quite useful for those people that love Mexican food but often don’t have the too much knowledge about them.
