Oregon Travel Information

When the west coast is mentioned, one might automatically think about California. It makes sense since California comprises about half of the western U.S. coastline but a rarely talked about state shares that same coastline, that state is Oregon. This state is has some of the most breathtaking scenery that the U.S. has to offer. One breathtaking sight is Hells Canyon, which is the deepest river gorge in North America.

Everywhere you turn in Oregon you can find a breathtaking view, whether it is a mountain range, a lush valley or rolling hills. The breathtaking views are enhanced by the three hundred days of sunshine a year that Oregon receives. But if the views are not enticing enough, there is also a rich history to the state. It is believed that the great adventurers Lewis and Clark made their way through the state and had actually once lived there. The combination of stunning landscapes and plentiful history make this a one-of-a-kind state.
