Some of these techniques are paid, such as ‘Pay Per Click’ or PPC. It can provide instant traffic to a website. Other methods are free which include article marketing, blogging, social networking, forum marketing etc. All these methods are useful in driving targeted traffic to your website. After you start getting traffic to your site, you can check and analyze the stats by using various free methods such as ‘Google Analytics’. It will tell you where your visitors are coming from and which method of traffic generation is yielding the best results.
