As most of Internet users know, Google is dominating the search engines market. Google’s share of the market become more important day after day, due the low competition from other companies like Yahoo, Msn.. and also because it provides good quality of services. J.P. Morgan Internet analyst Imran Khan recently hosted a survey to see if regular Internet users are thinking about switching search engines service, and what will be biggest reason that would cause them to change.
J.P. Morgan’s poll was based on U.S. residents only, and he found that 38% are happy with their results and they are not planning to switch, however 62% of web consumers have the idea and would be willing to change search engine, but what would make them switch? Here is the results:
Better results: 49%
Faster response speeds to search: 18%
Less cluttered results: 11%
The ability to preview web content: 13%
Less clutter on search sites: 3%
Results that include video, web, and music: 5%
